Delta Media Services handles graphic design, print, signage, branded clothing and merchandise from Attard. Its WordPress site held years of portfolio pages that search engines already knew, and a rebuild could not throw those addresses away.

What we built
An Astro website with nine service pages, from logo design and business cards to stickers, branded clothing and merchandise, a portfolio of 54 projects that can be filtered by discipline, and six articles. The enquiry form runs in two steps, lets the visitor send by email or WhatsApp, keeps a draft in their browser and is rate-limited against spam. Every page gets its own branded share image, generated when the site is built.
Search, answers and AI assistants
Every old portfolio, category and service address from the WordPress site maps to its new page through 175 redirect rules, so links and rankings carry over. Every page has its own title, description and canonical address on one www host. The structured data describes the business, its services and their offers, each portfolio piece as creative work and each article as a blog post. The robots file explicitly allows 12 crawlers, including OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot and PerplexityBot, llms.txt gives assistants the business in plain text, IndexNow is wired in, and a check at build time stops a release that has broken titles or canonicals. This is our SEO, AEO and GEO work.

Will I lose my Google rankings if I move my website off WordPress?
Not if every old address is redirected. When Delta Media Services left WordPress, 175 redirect rules mapped each old portfolio, category and service address to its new page, so links and rankings carried over.
